Evaluation and reporting
Evaluation leads to improvement of the R&S process in the future and helps to make the search for the best candidate for the next position even better.
Tip 1:
Evaluate each vacancy filled and draw lessons from it
For each vacancy, it is advisable that the recruitment and selection committee evaluates the entire selection process and shares the lessons learned with the HR advisor. The committee members should discuss the extent to which objectivity has been observed during the process. Also check that the candidate finally selected meets the visible/invisible diversity characteristics of the person you were looking for to join the team.
Tip 2:
Carry out annual evaluations
HR reports annually on who joined the institute in the previous year and shares an (anonymised) overview of the lessons learned.
